Jason Warfield
Head of Solutions and Adoptions Engineering, ThousandEyes
Jason is an inspirational leader with over 20 years of international business experience. Jason is passionate about building high performing teams, developing talent and scaling businesses powered by successful customer partnerships.Jason is the Global Head of Solution & Adoption Engineering for ThousandEyes (part of Cisco).
In this role he is responsible for leading a team of Engineers focused on helping customers accelerate their digital transformation initiatives by positioning solutions that help optimize the performance of the digital services that power their businesses.
Jason frequently presents at industry events, conferences and executive briefings. Jason’s mantra is “There is Nothing More Important than Our Customers” and this is reflected in the dedication and outcome driven focus he and his team bring into every customer interaction. Prior to joining ThousandEyes Jason led the Solutions Engineering team for CA Technologies’ DevOps business which included solutions that helped customers accelerate their software development process and deliver innovations to market more quickly.
Maria Medrano
Sr. Director, Diversity Partnerships & External Engagement, Google
Maria Medrano, Sr. Director Diversity Partnerships and External Engagement, is responsible for a global diversity partnership strategy with a focus on driving equitable outcomes for employees while also extending a sense of belonging around the globe.
Maria’s been described as a balanced blend of strategist and community advocate—holding roles in Inclusion & Community, HR, Finance, Operations and Strategic Sales. In her previous role as Visa’s Chief Diversity Officer, Maria was responsible for establishing the Inclusion & Diversity vision and mission and for supporting the company’s promise of universal acceptance for everyone, everywhere.
Maria is a first-generation American of Mexican descent and the first in her family to earn a college degree. She continues to advise and serve on multiple non-profit boards dedicated to improving the education of students in disadvantaged communities.
Ashley Sequeira
Technical Sales Program Lead at Google
Ashley Sequeira hails from Sacramento, CA and recently relocated to Las Cruces, NM with her husband, Dan and her two dogs, Carbon Fiber and Graham Cracker. She is a current student in the gCORe program at Boise State.
During her time at Boise State University, she concluded her career at Palo Alto Networks and started with Google July 2022. While at Palo Alto Networks, she ran the Security Operations training program, consulted for SOAR platforms, worked as a Professional Services Consultant and ran an employee resource group focused on Veterans. Prior to her time at Palo Alto Networks, Ashley worked in a Security Operations Center and served 13 years in the Army Reserve. In the Army, she competed on the National Taekwondo Team(2011, 2015), played in the Army Band and learned her fundamentals in IT. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Southern New Hampshire University in General Studies, an Associate of Science in Information Systems Security from Sacramento City College, an Associate of Arts in English Literature and Communication, an Associate of Arts in English and an Associate of Arts in General Studies, all from American River College.
Ashley holds technical certifications from SANS(GCIH), CompTIA(A+, Mobility+,Security+, CySA+), and Palo Alto Networks(PCSAE, PCDRA).
Some fun facts: Ashley is a 4th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and can play 12 instruments!
Peter Coffee
VP for Strategic Research at Salesforce
Peter Coffee is the VP for Strategic Research at Salesforce, about to complete his sixteenth year with the company. He previously wrote for eighteen years at publications including eWEEK, PC Week, Computer Language and AI Expert.
Before that, he supported desktop computing management and space-asset AI applications at The Aerospace Corporation, and held project management roles at Exxon Corporation in locations ranging from the Gulf of Mexico to the Arctic. He received his engineering degree at MIT in 1978, and an MBA from Pepperdine University in 1985; he has since held faculty appointments and lecturing roles at Pepperdine, UCLA, Stanford, CalTech, Harvard Business School, and the Sloan School of Management at MIT as well as other institutions in the US, Europe, Asia and South America.
He is co-founder and President of the Foundation for Intelligent Life on Earth, a Seattle-based sponsor of efforts addressing climate change, conservation, STEAM education, and the exploration of earth and space.
