IT Model Curriculum (ITMC)
WASTC Supports C-ID IT Model Curriculum Efforts
Alignment to the California Community College IT Model Curriculum (ITMC), will create better transfer and articulation opportunities between community colleges, community-based organizations and high schools - and increase program and credential value.
The ITMC focuses on the core fundamental IT skills required for beginning a career it IT. The ITMC has:
- Guided the development of the K-12 IT/Cybersecurity Pathway
- Formed the base training for the State of California IT Apprenticeship Program
- Provide Community College students with a transfer path to San Jose State University
WASTC can help with scheduled face-to-face workshops and resources.
First State of CA IT Apprenticeship Cohort and first public IT Apprenticeship in the nation.
